Snell Isle Property Owners Association Continues to Preserve the Legacy of Snell Isle
For more than a century, Snell Isle has been recognized for its timeless beauty, waterfront charm and strong sense of community. As you explore our website, we invite you to discover the history that shaped our neighborhood and SIPOA your non-profit that drives that preservation.
In 1938, SIPOA was founded to preserve the vision of developer C. Perry Snell and protect the character of one of St. Petersburg’s most distinctive waterfront neighborhoods.
Your support and donations provide funding for SIPOA to serve as the official voice of Snell Isle homeowners, advocating for neighborhood interests, supporting beautification projects, addressing zoning and traffic concerns, and working alongside the City of St. Petersburg on issues affecting the community.
Every year SIPOA asks each resident to donate so SIPOA can fund initiatives to repair, renovate and renew community assets. Your participation is needed to make our plans a reality.

- Renewed South Entrance Fountain
- Cleaned and repaired fountain, electrical & lighting; painted walls; installed new plants & trimmed
- Reimagined Holiday Lighting
- 2026 glowed after 2025 was dark
- 40 Planters cleaned, repaired & new plants installed
- 89 Panthers cleaned & repaired
- Hosted first Landscaping EXPO in October 2026
- Worked closely with City of St. Petersburg on Parkway beautification
